MAYHAM, designed and manufactured locally by Innovative Power & Distribution in Cloverdale, BC, is much more than an EV load-sharing device. It is an intelligent building energy management system that focuses on energy efficiency solutions by monitoring, reporting, and managing the electrical inputs for strata and multi-residential properties.

USE THE POWER YOUR BUILDING ALREADY HAS

MAYHAM can manage up to four independently protected outputs from one electrical supply, allowing multiple EV chargers or other electrical appliances to share available power efficiently. Each output is safeguarded by its appropriately sized breaker and can be configured for 60A, 40A, 30A, 20A, or 15A applications.

Systems can be custom designed for 120V, 208V, 240V, and three-phase applications.

Utilizing our proprietary software and solid-state relay (SSR) technology, MAYHAM continuously monitors the total electrical demand across its outputs. Each device can be assigned a priority. When a high-priority appliance requires power, MAYHAM automatically allocates the available electrical capacity while managing auxiliary loads. With compatible equipment, control and display functions can stay powered, even when the high-demand portion is restricted, ensuring intelligent load sharing. When additional capacity becomes available, MAYHAM redistributes the power automatically.

UP TO PARKING STALLS WITH 4 EV CHARGERS — ONE LOAD SHARE

Rather than installing a dedicated electrical circuit at full capacity for each EV charger, MAYHAM can dynamically share available capacity between up to four chargers, promoting efficient use of existing resources.

As vehicles connect, charge, and finish, MAYHAM automatically manages the available amperage between them. This allows a strata to significantly expand its EV charging infrastructure while reducing or potentially eliminating the need for costly electrical-service upgrades.

PROPRIETARY LPWAN — NO BUILDING WI-FI REQUIRED

MAYHAM uses our proprietary low-power, wide-area network (LPWAN) communication system, designed to communicate throughout challenging building environments such as underground parkades, without reliance on the strata’s Wi-Fi network.

This communication framework also enables integration with third-party compatible building systems and sensors, including water and leak detection, humidity monitoring, plumbing systems, door access controls, fire-alarm interfaces, cameras, mechanical equipment, and various other building-monitoring devices.

ONE CONCIERGE DESK — MANAGE YOUR ENTIRE BUILDING

The MAYHAM Concierge Desk integrates EV charging, energy management, monitoring, billing, and reporting into one centralized platform.

For EV charging, MAYHAM can provide RFID user identification, individual consumption tracking, monthly owner billing, payment administration, and detailed usage reports. If the unit owner neglects to pay, the RFID card will automatically be suspended.

The reporting system also generates valuable historical information for the strata, aiding management in understanding actual electrical consumption, planning future EV expansion, and supporting relevant carbon-credit and low-carbon-fuel reporting opportunities.

More importantly, MAYHAM can monitor connected building sensors 24/7. When it detects an abnormal condition, notifications can automatically be sent to the appropriate strata manager, owner, council representative, or service company, allowing for proactive building monitoring rather than reactive management.
